September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month!
Because prostate cancer kills so many of its victims, September has been named prostate cancer awareness month. This is a time when information about the disease and its treatments is distributed nationwide in an effort to get more men to be tested for early diagnosis and treatment, the best way to prevent them dying from this disease.
In their continuing effort to fight the disease, CPDR conducts annual prostate cancer screenings at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC. To support this effort, I have designed and printed posters to help get the word out. The posters (below) will be posted to help motivate and inspire men to get this necessary screening.
